What does charging system too high mean when it comes to vehicles?

I own a 03 Dodge Grand Caravan and earlier today we were driving it and the Battery light came on and the code says 1594 (charging system too high) What does that mean? The battery is new in January and the Alternator was tested at that time also and it was good. Does that mean my alternator is going to Crap? Somebody please help me if you know anything about this.

You will get people telling you to change this, and change that, without knowing what the problem realy is.

Take it to a shop and have the charging system tested. It’s free….

Then, if there is a problem…whalla…buy a new battery, alternator or what ever while you’re there anyway.
