What is a cheap but solid car i can buy for racing / tuning?
I’ve recently got into to the racing and tuning scene and want to buy a car that i can start fixing up. I have a $6,500 budget but im not sure as to which car i could buy that would fit into that range. I dont want to do an engine swap, it must be rwd or awd, and it must be a standard. So what do you guys think i should look into buying?
ooo man there all talkin bout 4 cyl.. you want rwd cheap and easy.. GO WITH 8.. you can easily look for a late 80s up to late 90s camaro/ transam with v8, stick and good shape, for under your budget!! The 350 block is so common for mods they are cheap and if you mess somethin up you can find a whole motor at junk yards for like 300-800 bucks sometimes or rebuild with performance mods like bored and ported for under 2k.. it is always gonna come to what you like the looks of but those are the best for the $ 2nd would be a fox body mustang 5.0 the motor is not quite as cheap but still common place.. good luck and keep up with the mods stock stuff sucks!!
