Motor Mounts
The Acura motor mount is a simple yet essential component that helps keep a vehicle functioning properly. It spares other car components from the damage that may be caused by the movements of the car engine.
Car engines have a truly powerful thrust and their horsepower can allow the car to go quite a long way. On the other hand, it also gives off so much force that can cause the engine to shift in the engine compartment, damaging some parts and loosening others. In some cases, the engine may even end up destroying a few components, here and there, particularly when engine vibrations are left unrestrained. Hence, if not for the grip of a reliable motor mount, numerous car components are sure to suffer. The Acura motor mount is made of tough steel and is equipped with a heavy rubber insert to help absorb and cushion strong engine vibrations.
