Camshafts? The performance of my car recently has not been right. Just do not get power when I try to accelerate. First I said it was the spark plugs, then the coils, then the fuel injectors. Now you're telling me that one of the camshafts are not working properly. I feel like I'm getting are seizing and running. What would make a camshaft to be defective in a car that is only four years old and has about 53,000 miles on it? I've never had a problem like this in any of my old cars. What else could that car lose power when it comes to speed, mixing on the road, etc? Oh, the car is currently is working for the dealer and has only been worked they. The car is an Acura RSX, 2002.
I'll tell you one thing for sure … if a dealer is telling you all this, have to walk to the general manager and ask why his mechanics and service manager are "guessing" what is wrong with your car … that is very unprofessional, and bad business … must be "conjecture" here because we try to help you based on your description of the problem … the dealer has the machines and tools that can isolate the causes.
