Is it possible to put a Ram Air kit on a 2000 Firebird Trans am v8?

My friend is selling me his 2000 Firebird v8, but it doesn’t have the Ram air kit, and I really want a firebird with it. The car is really cheap and the only thing that is needs to be my perfect car is the Ram air kit. Can I buy one and put it in the normal firebird v8? Thanks.

if your looking for the RAM AIR hood, the OEM hood made by GM and sold through SLP will run you about $1100 unpainted.

if you want to go aftermarket, which most ppl do because its cheaper, it the best option. the only difference between the OEM hood and the aftermarket hood is that it might not line up 100% perfect with the fenders and front bumper. VFN makes some sick hoods, but they’ve been having trouble latley getting orders out; there like 12 months behind on orders. Suncoast is good, but its over priced.
